Tech Data Corporation recently learned that its name was being falsely associated with "Work at Home" employment opportunities. These "opportunities" are not authorized by Tech Data and appear to be attempts at gaining access to the applicants’ personal information. Be advised that this is a scam that abuses Tech Data legitimate recruiting activities. Tech Data does not offer "Work at Home" employment opportunities, and never conducts interviews using an instant message methodology. If you are contacted for "Work at Home" employment opportunities referencing Tech Data as a potential employer, it is not a legitimate Tech Data Corp employment offering. Furthermore, you should confirm the identity of any Tech Data contact by requesting their full name and Tech Data contact information, which can be validated through the Tech Data Human Resources Department.
