Tech Data awarded the opportunity to sell all McAfee branded products
Mississauga, ON – February 25, 2010 – Tech Data Canada, a leading provider of IT products, logistics management and other value-added services, is now authorized to sell all McAfee, Inc. branded products including related support and service offerings. Most notably under the new agreement, authorized resellers will now be able to purchase McAfee Networking Security, Web Security and Email products.
“McAfee offers a full spectrum of security solutions,” said Greg Myers, vice president of marketing for Tech Data Canada. “With the restrictions to selling the complete McAfee product line now removed, our customers will now be able to use Tech Data exclusively for all their McAfee purchases.”
McAfee’s proven security solutions present a strong supporting pillar for Tech Data’s leadership in the Canadian security market, and the resulting agreement will provide resellers with the opportunity to reinforce their positions as trusted advisors for their customers. During the next couple of months, Tech Data’s software team will be reaching out to customers across Canada to inform and educate them on the benefits of the new agreement.
