Tech Data Logo
The Tech Data Logo is comprised of three unique elements: The Tech Data symbol, wording and blue box.
The Tech Data symbol is represented by "TD," which is Tech Data’s corporate monogram.
The Tech Data wording is proprietary and contains the letters that comprise the Tech Data name. The symbol and wording should appear together. Requests to use only the symbol must be approved by Tech Data’s Creative Services Manager.
The blue box (100% Pantone® Reflex Blue) encompasses the Tech Data symbol and the words "Tech Data."
The Tech Data Logo must be treated as a complete element and resized proportionally. To ensure readability, the logo should always appear on a white or light-colored background. Do not add words or visual elements to the logo, including company subsidiaries, vendors or product names.
Do not use the Tech Data Logo, symbol or wording as part of a sentence or word phrase, or associate it with a nonrelated symbol or graphic element.
When reproducing the Tech Data Logo, please use the authorized artwork provided. When referring to Tech Data in body text, always use "Tech Data" rather than "TD."
The Tech Data Logo must always:
- Appear in isolation, uncluttered by competing images
- Appear horizontally
- Be generated from high quality artwork
- Be positioned top right on stationary items; top left on printed envelopes; bottom right on any marketing communications
- Be freestanding on the background and never "framed" in a box
Clear Space
The clear space is defined as the area surrounding the logo. The minimum distance of this space consists of one-half the height of the logo bar. No written information or other company logos should appear within this space.
Corporate Colors
The use and consistency of Tech Data’s corporate colors are important parts of our identity.
For the Tech Data Logo, our authorized corporate color is Pantone® Reflex Blue. The logo may also appear in black, depending on the application. The four-color process equivalent to Pantone® Reflex Blue is 100% Cyan combined with 72% Magenta and 6% Black with 0% Yellow.
The logo should be reproduced on a white background. However, using the logo on a colored background is largely a matter of individual choice. If using a background color or photograph, the screen value should not be more than 20 percent.
Typography
Never reproduce the Tech Data wording by hand or substitute it with another typeface. Do not alter the letters, redraw them or respace the elements.
Appropriate Usage
To be visually effective, the Tech Data Logo, symbol, and wording must be used consistently. A consistent identity is critical in attracting new customers, building a loyal customer base and redefining Tech Data’s commitment to excellence.
Reproduction
When reproducing the Tech Data Logo in printed pieces, or electronically:
- Always use black when printing one-color and two-color pieces. Although black is the preferred color in two-color pieces, the logo should be printed in Pantone® Reflex Blue if the second color is Pantone® Reflex Blue.
- Always use the Pantone® Reflex Blue equivalent when printing four-color process pieces. Never use black.
- Never use a screen tint or shade when reproducing the Tech Data Logo.
For promotional materials, black and Pantone® Reflex Blue should be used, although there may be exceptions depending on the color of the promotional item.
All requests must be approved by Tech Data’s Creative Services Manager prior to printing.
