Tom Kraabel is an accomplished human resources leader with over two decades’ experience living and working in countries across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East, in addition to his home country of the United States. Over the past twenty years, he has served Fortune 100 companies, Private Equity firms, locally owned enterprises, and individuals from bases in Abu Dhabi, Tokyo, Singapore, Shanghai, and Brussels.
Currently based in Singapore, Tom is responsible for the Human Resources function for Tech Data Corporation across Asia Pacific. In this role, Tom is responsible for ensuring Tech Data has the talent it needs to serve its customers in this fast-growing region.
Prior to Tech Data, Tom led the Global Talent Acquisition and Talent Development functions at Pall Corporation. During his time as APAC regional leader with Pall in Singapore, Tom and his team were central to the integration of Pall into Danaher Corporation, its new parent company. Tom brings to his position a well-established background having served in MasterCard, Ingram Micro and Honeywell.
Tom served with distinction in the United States Marine Corps as an aviation radar technician and instructor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Luther College and a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business.
