Credit and Tax Information

Tech Data's team of credit professionals stand ready to help. For first-time customers, our New Account Representatives will work to quickly establish your Tech Data account and often process orders to permit same-day shipment.

New customers are requested to place orders by credit card, cashier's check, COD company check (subject to approval) or Net 10 day terms (subject to approval). Please check additional details about all payment methods available.

Those existing customers who wish to set up an open account with Tech Data must fill out the credit application and fax it, along with the most recent financial statements, to 305-599-8488, Attn: Credit Manager. The application should be signed by the owner or by an officer of the company. If you need to contact our Credit Department, please call 727-539-7429, Ext. 71755.

New customer credit applications are normally processed within three to five working days. Upon approval, Credit Services will assist you in taking full advantage of our financial market basket.

Tax Information

Since our customers resell the products they acquire from us, they will be exempt from state sales tax. However, our Tax Department is required by state tax agencies to maintain a completed resale tax certificate for all customers. No orders will be shipped until completed tax information is received at Tech Data.
